SpeakerGym was created by AK Ikwuakor — a former Division I athlete, professional actor, and corporate performance coach — who saw a massive gap in how people train communication. Athletes have gyms. Musicians have practice rooms. Speakers had nothing. Until now.
Our Mission
Communication is a performance skill.
We train it like one.
Most people try to improve their speaking by reading books or watching videos. That's like trying to get in shape by watching workout tutorials. It doesn't work. SpeakerGym treats communication the way elite athletes treat their craft — with reps, coaching, progressive overload, and a community that pushes you to be better. Every class is a workout. Every session is tracked. Every rep counts.
